Pre-registrations are open from March 23rd to April 30th for the marathon, half marathon, and 10km. The record numbers of the 2026 edition. BRESCIA – Twenty-five editions. One city. Thousands of stories to tell. The Bossoni Brescia Art Marathon returns Sunday, March 14, 2027 to celebrate its 25th anniversary and aims to write its most beautiful chapter yet. The announcement came just days after the 24th edition sold out, an unmistakable sign of the event’s constant growth: for the first time in BAM history, available bibs sold out two weeks before race day. Precisely in light of this result and the numerous requests still pending, the organizers of the ASD Rosa Running Team have decided to open pre-registrations: from March 23 to April 30 it will be possible to secure a place on the Endu platform for all three competitive distances – 42k, 21k and 10k – at the Early Bird rate, the most advantageous available. “The 25th anniversary represents much more than a mere anniversary for us,” says Loretta Pagliarini, head of the organizing committee. “It confirms a journey built year after year together with the runners and the local community. The early sellout sent a strong signal: the BAM has become an unmissable event, with a growing international reach. That’s why we want to offer everyone the chance to secure a spot early, already looking ahead to an even more special 2027 edition.” The numbers of growth: the BAM 2026 The March 8, 2026 edition saw a total of 4,323 registered participants, distributed across the three distances: 2,220 for the half marathon, 1,289 for the 10 km, and 814 for the marathon. The race has confirmed its strong local and international appeal. The province of Brescia leads in the number of participants—with over 2,000 registered—followed by Milan, Bergamo, Cremona, and Mantua. But the BAM attracts runners from all over Italy: Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Piedmont, and Trentino-Alto Adige are among the most represented regions. On the international front, more than 350 athletes came from abroad, with Ireland (over 100 registered), France, and Croatia among the largest numbers, followed by Poland, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. In the marathon alone, foreign participants accounted for nearly 16% of the total entries. The event attracted runners of all ages and levels. Among the half-marathon participants, the youngest was 19, the oldest in the marathon was 77, while an 84-year-old participant lined up at the start of the 10km. The most represented age groups, across all distances, were those from 35 to 55, confirming that this is a race that speaks to a generation of mature and consistent runners. The female contingent was also strong: 574 women in the half-marathon, 406 in the 10km, and 122 in the marathon. www.bresciamarathon.it
